Dr. Piotr Budnik

Dr Piotr Budnik completed his undergraduate studies with distinction at the University of Witwatersrand in 1999. He joined the academic department of Internal Medicine at the University of Stellenbosch, and in 2005 became a Fellow of the College of Physicians of South Africa. He entered private practice as a Specialist Physician in 2006, joining Dr Reon van Dyk in the exciting field of HIV medicine.

His main goal is to use a strong academic background to help patients with lifelong conditions to take control of their own health and future well being and the reward is seeing healthy patients flourish in both body and in spirit.

Patients need encouragements and support through a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team, and Positive Lives provides this with "evidence based medicine" as its primary objective. Healthy medicine equals healthy lives.
